WED, 10-25-17 Friends Over Fences Workshop at Grantham Church 6:00 pm .
Our program for the evening will be a discussion on “WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN IT
DOESN’T WORK ?” by Stephen Sands. Everyone is invited to participate in
the discussion at this meeting. We will also address any questions or
problems you may have concerning prison ministry. We meet at Grantham
Brethren in Christ Church, 421 Grantham Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 .
Remember that the Eat and Run $3.00 Meal at the church has resumed so you
can come between 5:00 and 6:00 pm to eat before the meeting then come to
our meeting that starts at 6:00 pm and goes to 7:30 pm. All are welcome,

Sat. 10-28-17 – Men’s Breakfast at John’s Diner located at 146 Sheraton
Drive, New Cumberland, PA (in the private room at the right rear corner of
the restaurant). Held every Saturday morning from 7:15 to 9:00 am, ONLY FOR
MEN !! Order off the menu, Dutch Treat. 10 minute presentation by a
different man each week followed by going around the room for each man to
give his comments or pass. The presentations may be spiritual in nature but
not always. Every Man is invited regardless of his faith, denomination or
relationship with God. This group has been meeting for over 20 years at
various locations. Most of the men are Christian but not all. The current
leader of the group is a blind, messianic Jew. Several returning citizens
are regular attenders. This group has provided mentors, employment and
access to home plans to many returning citizens. Questions? Call Keith

Sun. 10-29-17 – Visitation to Area Churches. Each Sunday we travel to an
area church to explain our prison ministry and see if the church is
interested in starting or expanding their prison ministry. We ask if we
can make an announcement to the congregation or teach a Sunday School class
about our support of Ex-offenders. We have several speakers but all are
welcome to come and share their experiences with the congregation. Call
Keith Sultzbaugh if you would like to go with us or have the name of a
church that you feel would be receptive to our cause. Last Sunday Lin
Nester and keith sultzbaugh visited THE FIRST CHURCH OF THE BRETHREN on
Hummel Street in Harrisburg.

Friends Over Fences meetings this week.

Hello Friends, Check out our meetings for this week ! A field trip on
Wednesday ! -keith

WED, 09-27-17 Friends Over Fences Workshop at Grantham Church 6:00 pm .
Our program for the evening will be a field trip to Lykens to meet Ivan
Martin who is starting a Car Ministry for Ex-Offenders. Ivan wants to take
donated or low priced cars, make the necessary repairs and provide them to
ExOffenders on a payment plan with little or no money down. We intend to
leave the church parking lot at 6:00 pm and return between 9:00 and 9:30 pm.
If you get to the church between 5:00 and 5:30, you can eat supper for
$3.00 !
